The course presents different approaches to art and paintings through inspirational sources and different techniques I have collected over the years from my studies in illustration and art.

The course will combine the learning of conventional techniques with the recognition of artists, artistic movement and contents.

The student's works will be accompanied by observation of the surrounding and immediate environment, from urban landscape and public spaces to the personal and private sphere.

Like researchers in a laboratory, we will experiment and search for formulae which combine techniques with content in a spatial concept, while accepting painting as a two - dimensional medium.

Exercises will be the basis for developing personal styles with the emphasis on creating new interpretations by each individual.
